The City of Helsinki and accessibility
The City of Helsinki strives to be an accessible and unobstructed city for everyone. The City’s aim is to ensure that Helsinki is as easy to move around and operate in as possible and that all content and services are accessible to everyone.
The City promotes the accessibility of digital services by harmonising publishing work and organising accessibility training for its personnel.
The level of accessibility of the City’s websites is constantly monitored as part of their administration. Observed deficiencies are reacted to immediately with the aim of carrying out the necessary changes as quickly as possible.
