This accessibility statement concerns the careers website of Helsinki City Transport. The website address is https://ura.hkl.fi.
The City’s goal
As regards the accessibility of digital services, the City of Helsinki’s goal is to reach a WCAG conformance level of AA or better, if reasonably possible.
This website conforms with statutory critical accessibility requirements in accordance with WCAG v2.1 level AA with the following identified deficiencies.

The page footer cannot be bypassed, due to which screen readers read the section of every page. (2.4.1 Bypass Blocks)
Screen readers read the carousel’s transition links in English.
The Skip to content link at the start of the page does not bypass the navigation section at the top and proceeds to read the actual content.
The Open positions link in the top navigation section takes the user to the corresponding section, but does not read it with a screen reader.

The aim is to correct the deficiencies as soon as possible.

The City of Helsinki strives to be an accessible and unobstructed city for everyone. The City’s aim is to ensure that Helsinki is as easy to move around and operate in as possible and that all content and services are accessible to everyone.
The City promotes the accessibility of digital services by harmonising publishing work and organising accessibility training for its personnel.
